I'm pretty bread and butter as far as that goes. I just check CNN, Foxnews (for the other side), and SI.com and ESPN.go.com for sports. I have a bunch of RSS feeds to Washington Post, New York Times, Wired, CNet News.com and How stuff works.

You won't like most of mine. . . they're mostly chick blogs. But try these:

do you like blogs about quilting? :) I could give you a few.

okay and you just can't go wrong with NPR. I'll write a few of our favorites down, just so you can come back to them:

Talk of the Nation: what was playing when brandon took me on our first lunch date. I thought to myself, who IS this person?

Car Talk: so funny, a definite entertainment one.

Fresh Air: not for the aunt halli's of the world. but I find terry gross quite interesting, and a great interviewers.

SLC's Radio West: Also great interviewing going on. Also, I find this program to have the most frequent "interesting to me" topics. more than fresh air.

World Cafe: always fun to hear new bands play, then hear FROM the musicians themselves..well rounded too.

Wait wait don't tell me: a weekly recap of the world's events..also an easy, funny way to stay up on current events. a live broadcast that I picture in different auditoriums through the US, with the panel on the stage, and comments from the audience.

let me know if you want me to expound on the quilting ones. :)
